Watercolour Palette
I have been trying out some new watercolour tube paints recently as a change from the half pans. The final empty spot in the Meeden porcelein palette was filled just the other day with Gamboge Hue.

Thoughts
I have been watching a few of Oliver Pyle’s landscape painting videos on his YouTube Channel in an effort to improve my sky washes. Particularly trying to avoid green skies when going for a light yellow horizon. I found the suggested mixes of Cobalt Blue, Raw Sienna, and the Light Red or Cadmium Red Hue gave some really nice blends, as well as really textured clouds. So I definitely recommend watching those videos. The Permanent Rose and Naples Yellow combinations give some fantastic sunset shades too.
The Gamboge Hue is a brilliant addition to the palette though. The greens it gives are a great addition to those produced by the Lemon Yellow though tending more to a landscape in the golden light of early morning or late evening just as the sun hits that really warm light.
